Danny Ray Smith
Mr. Danny Ray Smith, 67, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016, at his residence, following a short illness.
Mr. Smith was born May 2, 1948, in Homerville, to the late James Haskel Smith and Lennie Lucille Strickland Smith. He had worked at Wilson Grocery Store as a stockman and was a member of the New Pine Grove Southern Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors are one brother and sister-in-law, Tommy Day and Jewell Smith of Tifton, Ga.; two nephews and nieces-in-law, Dewey and Alicia Smith of Irwin County and Jerry Day and Beki Smith of Fitzgerald, Ga.; three great-nieces, AnnaLee Smith, Shelbi Smith and Laken Smith; several cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held Friday, February 5, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the New Pine Grove Southern Congregational Methodist Church.
Interment will be in the New Pine Grove Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Wrenea Wadkins Craig
Ms. Wrenea Wadkins Craig, 57, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Ms. Craig was born August 4, 1958, in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Willard Wadkins and Mildren Rebecca Langley Wadkins.  She was a member of the Lovejoy Community Church, Lakeland, and a homemaker.
Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Sid Mizell of Homerville; one sister and brother-in-law, Wildeana and Kevin Hammond of Homerville; four grandchildren, Rebecca Leah Wadkins, Rebecca Shyan Mizell, Seth Roan Mizell and Sydney Lavell Mizell; one great-granddaughter, Presleigh Rita Herrin; one nephew, Korey Hammond and several other relatives.
Memorial services for Ms. Craig will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Lovejoy Community Church in Lakeland.
Memorialization will be by cremation

Georgia Ann Scurry Roundtree
Ms. Georgie Ann Scurry Roundtree, 71, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016, in the Mayo Clinic Health System, Waycross, GA, following an extended illness.
Ms. Roundtree was born December 8, 1944, in Blackshear, Ga. to the late Ben Franklin Scurry and Annie Crawford Aldridge.  She had worked at Cady Bag as a machine operator and was of the Baptist Faith.  She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Buford Roundtree; four brothers, Randall Scurry, Benjamin Scurry, Jerry Scurry and Jackie Crawford,
Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law, Tiffiney and Jerel Anderson of Pearson; four sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Tammy Roundtree of  Person, Wesley and Caroline Roundtree of Homerville, Kenny Roundtree of Pearson and Tim and Karen Roundtree of  Americus, Ga.; one brother and sister-in-law, Julian and Ruth Scurry of Waycross; 10 grandchildren, John Wayne Roundtree, II, Heather and Devin Long, Mitchell and Taylor Roundtree, Ben and Elizabeth Johnston, Brock Roundtree, Lee Anderson, Autumn Anderson, Annie and Dustin Bagley, Tonya Roundtree and Chad Roundtree; three great-grandchildren, Camden Roundtree, Aleigha Johnston and Ethan Bagley; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Ms. Roundtree were held Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Harvest Time Church of God.
Officiating was Rev. Robert Spivey.
Interment was in the Enon Cemetery, Blackshear, Ga.
Active pallbearers were Tony Jordan, Andy Shaw, Ivan Crawford, Jason Knowles, Earnest Taylor and Cody Barnes.
W.G. Smith sang "Amazing Grace" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain".
